Abstract:Exploring the synergistic linkage mechanisms of innovation environment factors is of great significance to the development of new quality productive forces.Taking 31 Chinese provinces as case samples,this study employs the panel data QCA method to examine the multiple configurational paths of innovation environment promoting the development of new quality productive forces.The findings reveal:①No single innovation environmental factor constitutes a necessary condition for high-caliber regional new quality productive forces,but infrastructure plays a more ubiquitous role.②These factors interplay through four configurations:“all-environmental-factor jointly driven”,“finance-synergy-dominated infrastructure-market driven”,“infrastructure-market-policy-dominated synergy driven”,and“finance-synergy-dominated infrastructure-policy driven”,with certain substitution effects among specific factors.③The configurations remain generally stable across time and individual dimensions,though showing notable increases in 2015 and 2020.Moreover,the provincial coverage of configuration H1 exhibits significant regional disparities.These findings offer theoretical and practical bases for innovation environment governance and policymaking on new quality productive forces.
