Abstract:Based on the triple helix theoretical framework, this study constructs a fixed-effects model to empirically test the impact and underlying mechanisms of collaborative innovation among government, enterprises, and universities on the transformation of scientific and technological(S&T)achievements with the sample of China's provincial panel data from 2010 to 2023.The results show that multi-subject collaborative innovation has a significant role in promoting the transformation of S&T achievements, and the conclusion is robust.Multi-subject collaborative innovation can improve the quality of achievements supply, enhance the level of demand matching, optimize the innovation environment, which promotes the transformation of S&T achievements by leveraging the effects of supply, demand and environment. The promotion effect of multi-subject collaborative innovation on the transformation of S&T achievements is heterogeneous depending on the service level and economic structure,in which S&T services are more favorable to the transfer of S&T achievements, economic integration is more conducive to the industrialization of S&T achievements, and the private economy is beneficial to both the transfer and industrialization of S&T achievements. The research conclusions are of strategic significance and reference value for continuously strengthening collaborative innovation, optimizing the innovation ecosystem, and unclogging the channel of the whole chain from innovation output to achievements landing.
