The Impact of the Establishment of National Technology Transfer Regional Center on New Quality Productive Forces ——Based on a Multi-Period Difference-in-Differences Model

Abstract：The National Technology Transfer Regional Center (NTTC)is tasked with promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements,and it can help foster new quality productive forces.Based on provincial panel data from 2012 to 2022,this paper uses a multi-period Difference-in-Differences (DID)model to analyze and test the impact effects and mechanisms of the establishment of NTTCs on the formation of new quality productive forces.The study reveals the following points.the establishment of NTTCs significantly improves the level of new quality productive forces;the establishment of NTTCs fosters the formation of new quality productive forces by promoting the deep integration of the innovation chain,industrial chain,financial chain,and talent chain;the policy effects are most pronounced in new technologies and data factors;and the establishment of NTTCs has a more significant positive impact on new quality productive forces in China's eastern regions and regions with higher levels of openness.
