Abstract：This paper analyzes the agglomeration characteristics of Chinese cultural manufacturing industry in recent years by using three measure indexes at first.The analysis results show that there are great differences in the level of cultural manufacturing industry in each region of China.Cultural manufacturing industry of Guangdong has a high degree of agglomeration.The level of industrial agglomeration in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Henan and Liaoning are also high.Meanwhile according to technical efficiency indexes,it is found that there are also differences between the scale economy level and resource allocation level of cultural manufacturing industry among most provinces and cities in China.In order to carry out an in-depth analysis,this paper further uses quantile regression method to study relationships between the level of cultural manufacturing agglomeration and the overall technical efficiency.The results show that promoting cultural manufacturing agglomeration can significantly improve technical efficiency of the cultural manufacturing industry.Therefore,it is suggested that the regions with low technical efficiency should focus on promoting the agglomeration of cultural manufacturing industry in order to enhance technical efficiency of Chinese cultural manufacturing industry.
