Abstract Based on the investigation on the talent demand situation of 119 representative enterprises of strategic emerging industries in Hunan Province , this paper, firstly, uses gray system theory to set a GM(1, 1)model to predict the total talent demand of Hunan Province strategic emerging industries in the next six years.Secondly, it analyses the talent demand structure and level of Hunan Province strategic emerging industries by statistical analysis, for providing the theoretical, empirical and decision making support to speed up the cultivation, introduction and development of innovative talents and promote the development of strategic emerging industries.
