From“Coordination”to“Symbiosis”: The Dynamic Evolution of the Integration of Technological and Industrial Innovation-A Longitudinal Case Study of Sanmark Industry

Abstract:To reveal how the integration of sci-tech innovation and industrial innovation drives high-end transformation in traditional manufacturing,this study examines Sanmark Industry through a longitudinal case analysis based on resource orchestration and dynamic capability theory.It explores the micro and dynamic process and mechanism of innovation-industry chain convergence.Findings reveal a“spiral progressive upgrading”in dual-chain synergy,where the firm identifies specific core contradictions in different stages,continuously orchestrates resources,and enhances dynamic capabilities to evolve from initial collaboration to ecological symbiosis.This process is essentially driven by the cyclical“innovation-through-production and production-through-innovation”interaction,which deepens chain synergy and enables a shift toward a high-end,ecological paradigm.Compared to Germany's technology-vertical“Industry 4.0”and the U.S.'s platform-based“Manufacturing USA”,this“enterprise-led dynamic evolution”pathway offers a distinct theoretical and practical framework for high-end transformation of traditional manufacturers in China.
