Abstract：The intelligent era and the deepening development of intelligent technologies are systematically reshaping the demands for science and technology talents in their knowledge structures,competencies,and values.Yet China's talent supply shows gaps in quantity,structure,and quality,and the institutional fragmentation of education,science and technology,and talent systems further exacerbates the mismatch between supply and demand.Drawing on the characteristics of technological innovation and the paradigm shift in science and technology innovation in the intelligent era,and integrating empirical research,this paper systematically derives the demand characteristics of talents in the intelligent era.Current constraints include the lack of coordinated intelligent cognitive infrastructure,prominent structural imbalances in talent,an outdated university training system,insufficient coordination between industry-education integration and science-education integration,and the absence of linked evaluation mechanisms.Policy recommendations include coordinating intelligent cognitive infrastructure,establishing cross-departmental coordination mechanisms,improving the university talent cultivation system,deepening industry-education integration and science-education integration,and establishing an integrated evaluation system.These recommendations aim to provide theoretical support and decision-making references for resolving the talent supply-demand mismatch in the intelligent era and promoting the integrated development of education,science and technology,and talent.
