Abstract:This study constructs an international migration network of Nobel Prize winners from 1901 to 2022,with Nobel laureates representing global scientific and talent hubs.Using social network analysis methods,the study analyzes both the overall and individual networks of Nobel Prize talent migration.The conclusions are as follows.①A significant proportion of Nobel laureates have migrated internationally,and the country they belong to when they win the Nobel Prize is likely not their country of birth or original nationality,but rather the country they migrated to.This leads to migration-receiving countries benefiting more from the movement of Nobel laureates.②The structure of the international migration network exhibits a “core-periphery” characteristic,with migration predominantly occurring in core countries.The spatial distribution is uneven,showing a pattern where central countries are closely connected,while peripheral countries are sparsely distributed.The migration of top talents plays a crucial role in the formation of world science center.
