Abstract China has been on an important strategic stage of promoting independent innovation and accelerating transformation of China into an innovation-driven country.In this stage, a great many of innovative talents who meet the demand of an innovation-driven country are needed to undertake this task.Focusing on the goal of cultivating young innovative talents in science and technology, this paper analyses and summarizes the development process and environment of young innovative talents, and analyzes the factors which may influence the development of young innovative talents.Finally, some strategy suggestions on how to further promote cultivation of young innovative talents are proposed.
