Abstract Using the 284 city-level panel data in China from 2005 to 2010,by spatial econometric method,fully considering the specialization,diversity,urban size,urban spatial interaction and distance,this paper discusses the influence of spatial technological spillover on the city service industry in China deeply.The results showed that spatial technological spillover has great influence on labor productivity of service sector and sub-sector in China,and the influence on the labor productivity of the consumer service sector is greater than that on the labor productivity of the producer service sector.Specialization has greater influence on the labor productivity of the consumer service sector.Diversity has less negative influence on the labor productivity of the producer service sector.The spatial technological spillover effects of city service industry in China are significant within 90-140km,and above 220km,the effects don t exist.
