科技创新促进文化新质生产力发展:理论分析与实证检验

Abstract Technological innovation plays an active role in developing new business models and new scenes, thus serves as the core element and accelerator in cultivating cultural new quality productivity. In order to examine whether technological innovation can promote cultural new quality productivity in reality and the mechanism behind, this paper made empirical tests with fixed effects regression model analysis based on the patent data of 30 Chinese provinces and municipalities from 2015 to 2021. According to the results, technological innovation did have promoting effect in developing cultural new quality productivity, and this empowerment effect remained robust even under conditions such as variable replacement, exclusion of special samples, and endogeneity processing. Also, the mechanism analysis showed that technological innovation could help with human resource structure optimization, industry structure upshift and finance support enhancement, and then accelerated the transition of cultural productivity. Furthermore, the promotion effect of technological innovation presented significant regional heterogeneity and was stronger in the Middle and Western regions. Therefore, this paper suggests making appropriate cultural policies, promoting joint cultural innovation and expanding the supply of new-quality cultural elements so as to better stimulate the empowering effect of technological innovation on cultural new quality productivity development.
