Research on the Incentive Factors and Function Mechanism of Alliance Collaborative Innovation Based on Grounded Theory |

Abstract Industry alliance collaborative innovation is conducive to breaking through the core industrial technology and accelerating the achievements transformation process, which is an inevitable choice for the implementation of China's innovation-driven development strategy.Scientifically identifying the key incentive factors of alliance collaborative innovation can effectively stimulate and promote the collaborative innovation willingness, motivation and behavior of alliance members to improve the alliance collaborative innovation performance.Through in-depth interviews, the key incentive factors of alliance collaborative innovation are extracted using Grounded Theory method, whose influencing mechanism is empirically studied with structural equation model.The results show that the goal motivation, cooperative sharing and benefit distribution are the internal incentive factors of alliance collaborative innovation, directly affecting alliance innovation performance;Meanwhile supply push, demand pull and environmental support are the external incentive factors of alliance collaborative innovation, directly or indirectly effecting alliance collaborative innovation performance through internal incentive factors.The internal and external incentive factors work together to promote alliance collaborative innovation performance.This study provides theoretical basis and decision-making reference for establishing and perfecting the incentive mechanism of alliance collaborative innovation, which has important guiding significance for improving alliance innovation management level and its innovation performance.
