| Empirical Analysis of the Interactive Development Between Knowledge-Intensive Business Service Industry and Manufacturing Industry |

Abstract The current mainstream literatures on manufacturing servitization issues focuses on manufacturers to better meet customer requirements by adding service elements to their product processes.This paper builds the panel data from provinces and regions in China from 2005 to 2015.The empirical results prove that the development of knowledge-intensive business services(KIBS)contributes to the expansion of the scale of manufacturing industry(represented by employment creation in the industry),while the booming manufacturing industry drives the development of supporting knowledge-intensive business services.In this cycle,the operation activities of knowledge-intensive business service enterprises and manufacturing enterprises are interwoven.In addition,the development of knowledge-intensive business services will also change the industrial development mode of a region and realize the transformation of industrial development momentum.
