Abstract The establishment of patent alert mechanism(PAM)system in China is one of the most important measures for the development of innovation drive country First of all,the author summarized the research status quo of PAM of China,viewed from the point of the central and local governments,industries and enterprises Secondly,based on the in depth analysis of PAM,the author investigated hundreds of local governments,research institutions,universities and corporations,such as Shandong Province,Jiangsu Province and the Chinese Academy of Science,and summarized their achievements and mainly problems of PAM system parctice Finally,the author offered some proposals for improving the PAM system in the near future
