Abstract In order to realize complement of resources and reduce research and development risks,many enterprises cooperate in the patent development,and have been developing gradually toward networking organization.Patent cooperation network promotes the enterprises knowledge integration,realizes knowledge diffusion among different enterprises,and thus enhances greatly the innovation performance of enterprises.Taking integrated circuits industry for example,this paper studies the influencing factors of knowledge diffusion in the patent cooperation network with the application of social network model and statistical method on patent information.The results show that the times of cooperation,the number of innovators,and the active period have the positive correlation with knowledge diffusion;while the density of the enterprise network and independent R D capability have the negative correlation with knowledge diffusion.
