Abstract Based on theoretical analysis of regional equipment manufacturing industrial structure optimization, this paper summarizes 5 factors influencing regional equipment manufacturing industrial structure optimization, and establishes structure equation model of the relationship between the regional equipment manufacturing industrial structure optimization and the influencing factors.Through empirical analysis, it verifies the hypotheses and structural equation model.The innovation of science and technology, resources endowment, government support, the demand and the opening extent have positive effect on regional equipment manufacturing industrial structure optimization.It concludes that the innovation, resource endowment are the two key factors of regional equipment manufacturing industrial structure optimization.
