Abstract Based on the research literatures, this paper puts forward a theoretical model and its hypotheses of the relationships among agglomeration effect, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention from the perspective of entrepreneurial resources and environment.452 entrepreneurs of industrial clusters are chosen as research samples, and the empirical data is used to verify the hypotheses. The empirical results showed that agglomeration effect has a significantly positive effect on entrepreneurial self-efficacy.Entrepreneurial self-efficacy has a significantly positive effect on entrepreneurial intention.Agglomeration effect has both direct and indirect effect on entrepreneurial intention.Entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between agglomeration effect and entrepreneurial intention. The conclusions of this paper not only enrich industrial clusters theory and entrepreneurship theory, but also provide theory guidance for industrial clusters and entrepreneurs.
