Abstract:Based on coupling coordination theory,this study constructs an evaluation index system for scientific and technological(S&T)progress and ecological environment.Game theory combined weighting model,simulated annealing optimized projection pursuit evaluation model,and coupling coordination degree model were applied to systematically analyze the coupling coordination relationship between S&T progress and ecological environment across 31 provincial-level regions in China from 2014 to 2023.The results show that China's overall level of S&T progress has shown a steady upward trend,forming a spatial gradient pattern of“strong in the east,weak in the west;strong in the south,weak in the north”.Ecological environment level also showed an improving trend,though its growth rate was lower than that of S&T development,and regional differences were significant.The coordination between S&T progress and ecological environment in China has generally progressed from“mildly misaligned”to“primary coordination.”By 2023,3 provinces had reached“good coordination”,15 provinces were in“primary coordination”,and 13 provinces remained in“mildly misaligned”.Based on the differences in regional coordinated development types,differentiated policy recommendations are proposed.These findings provide a scientific basis for optimizing differentiated S&T innovation policies and environmental governance measures,and have important practical value for promoting China's high-quality development and ecological civilization construction.
