Abstract From the ecological perspective of technology,the paper selected 20 targets fitting to construct the high-tech industry technology's ecological niche appraisal system.It used the principal components analysis and the regional space multi-dimensional structural model to assess high-tech industry technology ecology position's “width” and “depth” of China,and carried on the thorough analysis.The results shows that width innovation level of regional high-tech industry technology's ecology niche and depth of development are appearing in decreasing in turn from the East to Midwest areas.Within various regions interior,there exists significant difference.Environment space distributions of technology's ecological niche are difference:Imbalance is serious;High-tech industry input and output efficiency,technological innovation eco-system are showing a positive correlation
