Abstract The execution of IP strategy can be separated into two stages,through which IP is produced and applied.We constructed a two-stage IP input-output model to study data of high-tech industries from 29 provinces,and found that IP input-output chain efficiency is different among provinces and regions,then found that there is no correlation between regional intellectual property implementation performance and the local economic level from the correlation analysis.Finally,we gave some useful advices for the promotion of regional IP strategies.
