Abstract The linear regression method is one of the most simple and commonly used methods in empirical research.Based on historical data,it can predict the results of the economic activity,so as to guide the decision-making.However,in practical work of governmental RD management,the mathematical calculations prevent it from being used.This article gives an easy way of using linear regression method.It is a good reference to those not familiar with the Quantitative Economics.
