Abstract With the outbreak of artificial intelligence and various new technologies,human civilization is entering a new round of technological revolution centered on“digital intelligence”. How to effectively control and harness new technologies has become the most important proposition for the development of human civilization. This article extends from the“distinction between human and animal”to analyze the“distinction between human and artificial intelligence machine”,it includes three sub-propositions:will human beings be replaced by machines? to what extent do people cede power to machines? will the development of civilization in the future be human-centered? The greatest significance of human beings for the development of future civilization lies in their subjectivity. This article further returns to the debate on Tao and Qi in traditional Chinese philosophy,pointing out the need to restore the subordinate status of Qi ,address the inequality issues brought about by technology,and construct a human governance system for technology. Finally,this article believes that in the face of rapid technological progress,seeking human virtue internally,using the Tao to control Qi,and promoting the dual wheel drive of morality and technology,can truly promote the progress of human society,shifting from technology first to technology for good.
