Abstract The value dispute of science and technology mainly includes two views which are the value-free theory and the value-related theory,and the former is declining while the latter wins more and more approval.From today's facts,the value dispute of science and technology mainly focuses on the relationship between modern science and technology and value,highlighting the ethical temperament of modern science and technology and the human expectation and hope for the development of modern science and technology,and thus making important and positive contributions to the birth and development of the ethics of science and technology.Today,in the face of the severe risks and ethical problems brought about by modern science and technology,the ethics of modern science and technology should shoulder the three historical missions of studying the relationship between science and technology and ethics,the basic principles and norms of modern science and technology ethics,and the subject morality of science and technology activities.
