| The Influence of Intelligent Development on Total Factor Productivity——Evidence from China's Listed Manufacturing Enterprises |

Abstract Intelligent development is the main direction for China to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry and improve the quality and efficiency.This paper uses text analysis technique and annual reports to estimate the intelligent development of listed companies in manufacturing from 2009 to 2018,and investigates the impact of intelligent development on Total Factor Productivity(TFP).The results show that intelligent development has significant effect on TFP,and the productivity paradox of intelligent development is not established.For enterprises with scarce human capital,labor intensive and poor business conditions,the productivity effects of intelligent development are more prominent.Intelligent manufacturing is an important way to alleviate the rising labor cost,the departing skilled talents from real economy and the decline in business profits.In addition,there is a significantly positive interaction between intelligent development and service innovation,manufacturing enterprises upgrade production capacity by imbedding the downstream of value chain,and then increase TFP.The research results provide theoretical guidance and enlightenment for the intelligent transformation to enable the development of high quality manufacturing.
