| Business Model Innovation and Institutional Change:A Study on the Process of Institutional Entrepreneurship Under the Guidance of Legitimacy |

Abstract In recent years,how the institution affects the innovative behavior of enterprises is a hot topic in the field of entrepreneurship research,but the impact of the innovative behavior of enterprises on the institution has not been widely concerned.Based on the theory of legitimacy and institutional entrepreneurship,the paper abstracts the underlying logic that business model innovation affects institutional change,that is,the process of institutional entrepreneurship under the guidance of legitimacy.In addition,by constructing a process model of business model innovation influencing institutional change,the study further reveals the process of institutional entrepreneurs using institutional entrepreneurship strategy to promote institutional change when pursuing the legitimacy of business model innovation.The research as a whole helps to encourage enterprises to promote institutional progress through innovative behaviors,and adopt reasonable ways to conduct “dialogue”with the institutions in developing entrepreneurial behaviors.At the theoretical level,the research has played a certain role in promoting the development of legitimacy and institutional entrepreneurship theory in the context of business model innovation.
