| Government Innovation Effectiveness Measurement: Significance,Difficulties and Feasible Approaches |

Abstract Fashionable theories and ideas,such as good governance,new public management,all emphasize the significance of the results of government activities,and the effectiveness of local government innovation is just the things which focus on the results of government activities.Although a great number of scholars in public administration are fully awake to the significance of the effectiveness of local government innovation,there are very few researchers directly focus on this theme,much less examine systematically the effectiveness of local government innovation,becuse of the restriction of the level of discipline development and unavailability of relative data.Based on relevant literature review,the paper therefore mainly explores the significance,difficulties and feasible approaches of government innovation effectiveness measurement respectively.We expect it would be conducive to deepen the exploration of government innovation,and serve as a stepping-stone to induce the a ttention of the practitioners and researchers on public administration.
