| Micro Innovation and the Development of Farmer Cooperatives——Multi-case Study Based on 8 Cooperatives |

Abstract Cooperatives,as one of the mainstays of the new type of agricultural management,have become a realistic and pressing issue for cooperatives in the new era.From the perspective of micro-innovation,this paper uses eight cooperatives as samples,applies standardized multi-case research methods,and specifically analyzes the implementation,influencing factors,and performance of micro-innovation in cooperatives,and discusses the mechanism of cooperative micro-innovation implementation.The micro-innovation of cooperatives mainly includes micro-innovation of products,micro-innovation of technology,micro-innovation of marketing,and micro-innovation of institutions.The influencing factors mainly include the predicament of presidents of cooperatives,members of cooperatives,and the public sector and cooperatives.The technological micro-innovation of cooperatives can bring about economic,social and environmental performance,with the highest overall performance,especially economic performance.Marketing micro-innovation can produce higher economy and certain social benefits,and product micro-innovation.With high economic benefits,the overall performance of the system's micro-innovation is the lowest,which only has an indirect effect on the economic benefits of the cooperative.
