制造业数字化投入对全球价值链分工的影响——基于制造业行业的实证分析

Abstract Manufacturing digitalization has become an important way for China's manufacturing industry to realize the ascent of the value chain.This paper deeply explores the impact of digitalization on the GVC division of manufacturing and its mechanism of action,and uses WIOD data to optimize the measurement of digital input.From the perspectives of manufacturing GVC status index,RCA index,and production length,this paper demonstrates the multiple influences of digital input on division of labor in manufacturing GVC.Research shows that digital investment has significantly increased the manufacturing industry's GVC status index,RCA index,and production length,and has played a role in improving industry labor productivity channels.The positive effects of domestic digital inputs are significantly greater than those of international digital inputs;the positive effects of digital inputs in electronics and communication equipment manufacturing are the most significant,followed by digital inputs in information technology services and digital telecommunications.Comparing different types of industries,digital investment has a significant positive effect on GVC for low-medium and medium-high knowledge-intensive industries,but not significant for low knowledge intensive industries.Therefore,to enhance the status of international division of manufacturing industry,we should focus on promoting new infrastructure construction,optimizing the layout of digital industry,and implementing targeted digital empowerment.
