Abstract The regulatory mode diversification of responsive regulation theory and branch of the derived theory conform to the idea of the legislative law and food safety law in China.At the same time it coincides with public policy goals which are streamlining administration,delegating more powers to lower-level government and society,improving regulation and optimizing services.Therefore,Chinese local legislation should creatively apply this theory to guide the food safety supervision of local legislation.We should use the theroy to respond the challenge emerging from the revision of the law and new related policy and the needs of public rights.On the other hand,we should use this theory to innovate the local legislation of food safety regulation,explore the new legislation idea for local legislation,which will be beneficial to the development with local legislation characteristics,and promote the development of local food economy.
