Abstract Informatization can support the agricultural modernization effectively.Agricultural modernization provides demand space and the factor supply for the informationization.The comprehensive development level of the informationization and agricultural modernization is improving according to the calculation based on entropy weight method,but there shows difference among regions.The coordination degree also presents differences from east to west.The coordination degree has significant positive correlation with urbanization rate,the improvement of the industrial structure and employment structure,optimization of urban and rural income gap.In the future we should strengthen the coordinating development of different regions,increase finance investment and transfer payments in agriculture,perfect rural information infrastructure,improve the level of scale and standardization of agricultural production,and accelerate the extension of rural electronic commerce from trade to production and consumption,etc
