| Study on the Startups Classification Based on Its Characters and Identification Standards |

Abstract This paper describes the concept of startups,analyzes the significance,status and existing problems of the classification of startups.It tries to discuss the startups’ three important characters,such as innovative,risk-benefit and socio-economic,as well as to discuss the identification standards of startups in US,EU,Japan and in China itself.Based on which,this paper comes up with some new classifications of startups and finally gives a few policy proposals on promoting the development of startups
