Abstract As a process of resource reallocation,transfer of rural labor is subject to industrial technological progress,and it also affects industrial technological progress simultaneously.Through establishing an econometric method,this paper has practically analyzed the dynamic effect relationship between technological progress of three industries and transfer of rural labor from 1978 to 2011.The result indicates that there has been long-term and significant correlation between technology progress of primary and tertiary industries and transfer of rural labor;however,there is no significant correlation between technology progress of secondary industry and transfer of rural labor.According to the empirical conclusion,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions to ensure smooth rural labor transfer among the various industries.
