Abstract：Taking Huaihai economic zone as an example,this paper analyses the economic and technical characteristics,spatial distribution and coordinated development in these cities,and finds that the economic and technical levels of cities in this region conform to the core-edge area theory in their own provinces,and shows absolute divergence and relative convergence among them,and several cities in the core region of provincial joints present spatial characteristics of“Low-Low”adjacency
