Abstract This paper examines the key-word change of China's postdoctoral policies in different periods by using quantitative research methods of policy documents such as co-word analysis and cluster analysis,on the basis of 106 policy documents issued by China's central governments from 1985 to 2015.There are different concerns in different periods.On the whole,postdoctoral policy is changing along with the social economic development.
