Abstract This paper applied the original data of citizen's scientific quality of six provinces(cities)collected in 2013,to analyze the inner composition of urban working population's scientific quality.Based on the series of statistical data from the investigation areas,it analyzed the effect of urbanization and industrial structure adjustment on the scientific quality of urban laborers.In the end,some policy suggestions are given for improving the scientific quality of urban working population in China
