| The Moderating Role of Tacit Knowledge Between Open Innovation and Innovation Performance:An Empirical Research of Information and Telecommunication Industry |

Abstract This paper discussed the moderating role of tacit knowledge in the open innovation process.Based on the survey study of information and telecommunication industry,some interesting findings were exhibited as follows.First,both inbound open innovation and outbound open innovation have significant positive effects on innovation performance.Second,the tacit knowledge acts as a positive moderating role in both inbound open innovation and outbound open innovation process.According to the findings,some suggestions were given in the end.Enterprises should not only concentrate on absorbing creative from others but also actively commercialize patents outside by means of authorization.At the same time,they should pay attention to the accumulation of tacit knowledge,so that the positive effect on open innovation performance would be enlarged by the moderating effect of tacit knowledge.At last,the conclusions and suggestions are also applied to other knowledge-intensive industries
