| R&D Input’s Heterogeneous Effect on Technological Progress of the Enterprises |

Abstract Based on 2011—2014 panel data of listed companies in strategic emerging industries in China,by using Threshold Regression Model,this paper examines R&D input’s heterogeneous effect on the technological progress of the enterprises under the perspective of the ownership difference.The study shows that the R&D input would promote the enterprises’ technological advance,only when the intensity touches a certain threshold level,and there is the ownership difference upon R&D’s threshold effect on the enterprises’ technological advance.There is the most excellent heterogeneous R&D intensity range,state-owned enterprise 0.09%～2.27%,private enterprise 0.96%～12.74%,public enterprise 0.13%～6.34%.Within these intensity scope,R&D intensity has the most promotion effect on the enterprises’ technological progress.When it goes far beyond the above range,R&D would have the inhibiting effect on the technological progress of the state-owned enterprise,while still promote the private and public enterprises with the diminishing marginal trend
