Abstract The paper establishes a co-agglomeration index of agglomeration producer services and manufacturing industry and takes the data of 268 above prefecture cities in China during 2006—2013.According to the vertical linkage model of new economic geography,we build up the theoretical framework of co-agglomeration effect mechanism and make an empirical study.The results show that the producer services and manufacturing industry of China has collaborative clustering phenomenon.The role of each influence factors and subdivision producer services agglomeration are different to the producer services and manufacturing industry co-agglomeration
