Abstract This paper studies the medium-sized industrial enterprises in Jiangsu province,taking R&D institutions as the research objective.It structures a medium-sized industrial enterprises evaluation index system of R&D institutions,using the indicators of discrimination on R&D institutions and medium-sized industrial enterprises competitiveness index screening,with factor analysis and regression analysis method.This paper gets the Jiangsu province municipality R&D institutions in R&D investment,R&D implementation,R&D environment,R&D outputs league tables and cluster map,Jiangsu Province and medium-sized industrial enterprises locate their R&D institutions compete force situation,grasps the direction of future efforts to provide a reference
