How Does Industry Factor Affect the Cooperation Tendency between Industry and University?——Empirical Analysis based on National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology |

Abstract Many empirical researches have found that the cooperation tendency (or efficiency) between industry and university is different because of the industry factor.However, few scholars went deeply into the mechanism of action.In this study, the National Prizes for progress in science and technology (2000—2012) have been collected, secondary operated and analyzed, by descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression.The results show that the industry factor can be decomposed into capabilities dimension and interactive dimension, and the transmission between them will affect the cooperation tendency (proprietary or general technologies) between industry and university.It is a complement for this domain, and help the government to establish different policies depends on the industry factor.
