Abstract Service innovation is a development strategy which manufacturing enterprises cope with service-oriented economic.The paper starts from concept and motivation of service innovation in manufacturing enterprises,and focuses on process and performance of service innovation in manufacturing enterprise.It is beneficial for future theoretical study and plays a fundamental role in enriching the theories of service innovation in manufacturing enterprises.
