Abstract Team creativity is the key to sustain the organization s competitive advantage.However,team creativity results from knowledge sharing among members and their learning ability.This article investigates the effects of knowledge sharing types on team creativity and then analyzes the impact of the team learning capability on the relationship between knowledge sharing and team creativity.By examining 63 teams collected from high-technology firms in Hefei,results showed that only interpersonal interaction knowledge sharing type has a direct effect on team creativity.Furthermore,the results also showed that the absorptive capacity of team learning capability has effects on the relationship between technology/documentation knowledge sharing type and actual experience knowledge sharing type.
