Abstract Due to the evident differences of industrial competitiveness among regions in China,regional high-tech industry demonstrates an outstanding unbalanced inputs and outputs presently.Based on the construction of multi-level regional high-tech industrial competitiveness evaluation system,we analyzed the differences of regional industrial competitiveness by the Factor Analysis and Hierarchical Cluster Analysis.We summarized the features of spatial distribution according to the data from 30 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in China.Research findings will make up for the deficiency of previous research on the differences of regional high-tech industry competitiveness and its spatial distribution features.
