Abstract This paper,analyses the unprofitable situation of China s biomass energy enterprises,by industrial value chain and enterprise cost analysis theories.It found that the problem of raw material supply exists because of insufficient research about biomass material saving.Such as in the proof of investment feasibiliity,people only caculated the biomass resource by theoretical numbers,but neglecting its structure,distribution,transportation,storage,atilization efficiency and environment,etc.This has a close relationship with insufficient research on biomass saving.
